Cancellation & Refund Policy

Safe Amanat is offered as an annual plan, with a free trial to start. This page explains how to cancel, what cancellation means for your access and your data, and when refunds apply.

1. Free trial

You can try Safe Amanat free during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Your paid plan begins only when the trial ends and payment is taken.

2. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription in the app, or by emailing support@safeamanat.com. Cancelling stops your plan from renewing; you are never charged again after you cancel.

3. What cancelling means for your access

When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, your vault moves to a read-only state — you can still view and export everything, but not add or edit records — unless you resubscribe. Your family's verified-claim protection continues to work while your data is retained.

4. Refunds

  • Within 14 days of a charge: if you're not satisfied, contact us for a full refund of that charge.
  • After 14 days: the current annual term is non-refundable, but you can cancel to stop all future renewals and you keep access until the term ends.
  • Storage add-ons follow the same rule as the plan they were bought with.
  • Refunds are returned to your original payment method via PhonePe (for Indian INR payments) or PayPal (for international payments), typically within 5–7 business days.

Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.

5. What happens to your data after cancelling

Cancelling does not immediately delete your data. Your records are retained (read-only) for a limited period so you can resubscribe or export them, with advance notice before anything is removed. If you want your data gone sooner, you can delete your account at any time — that permanently erases your records, not just hides them.
